On July 19, 2025, The Dinker Foundation proudly sponsored the Fulton County Back to School Giveaway, also known as the FOCO Back to School event—an annual community initiative designed to prepare students for a successful academic year.
As a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families and investing in youth across Fulton County, we understand that educational preparedness is one of the most powerful tools for long-term success.
Equipping Students with Essential School Supplies
At the heart of the FOCO Back to School Giveaway were backpacks filled with essential school supplies—pencils, notebooks, folders, and classroom necessities that many families struggle to afford. For parents facing economic challenges, the rising cost of school supplies can create stress before the first day of school even begins.
By providing these essential materials, The Dinker Foundation and community partners helped remove that barrier.
But the backpacks represented something much deeper than paper and pens.
